WAHOOOO!!!!! God is SO good! I am praising Him alone for what He has done! :) I have received the wonderful news that I got a job at a Christian International School in Nairobi, Kenya! I heard about and applied for this job in November last year and wasn't sure if I'd even stand a chance at it!!! In early February I had a skype interview for the position and was very happy with how I felt it went! Luckily, they picked me!!!!!!!!! :D
It is a contract position setting up and teaching preschool for a minimum of 3 years!! The students I will teach will most likely be missionary children or children from people who work for the United Nations. Apparently the student population is about 40% American, 20% Kenyan, and the other 40% are made up with students from all around the world! I will be living on the campus of the school or in the neighbouring UN compound. My flights, insurance, visas and accomodation are all paid for!!! And I will be earning a monthly wage. Woohoo! Words cannot describe to you how excited I am to be finally going home long-term. I have spent the last few days texting, skyping and calling friends all around the world who have been praying for me! :) SO great. Thankyou for your prayers! I really appreciate them..and God HEARD them! :D
The other good thing is that I will be living in a place called Gigiri. This place is only a short driving distance away from the children at Jesus Helper's Children's Home (who I love so dearly!). It will be great to be close to them to be able to go and visit and cuddle on some weekends! :)
Now I just have to practice being patient for the next few months as I prepare to go home to Africa!
