Last week I became an Aunty for the first time!!! Well....in essence. I have been an Aunty for a while now to many children but not a 'real' one. My brother Francis and his beautiful wife, Lilian (my sister) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl...on the 26th of March. I was deeply honoured that they decided to name the baby after me. I was simply blown away by this notion! On Saturday on a call to them...I was able to hear her cry for the first time. Today, I have seen for the first time pictures of her...and my she is GORGEOUS! Baby Sarah has beautiful curly black hair and fair skin. She is simply adorable! I had also forgotten that in Kenyan culture the mother of the child automatically becomes named after her first child...SO...Lilian is now Mama Sarah! I thought this was pretty cool too!
I can't wait to head home to meet this precious angel and give her lots and lots of love and cuddles! Karibu Nyambani precious baby Sarah Muthama! :) xox
